1. Information we collect
To create an account, Cashly collects your phone number, Ghana Card details for identity verification, and mobile money account information needed to process contributions and payouts.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to verify your identity, operate your Circles, process contributions and payouts, calculate your Trust Score, and communicate important account and circle updates.
3. Identity verification
Phone numbers are verified via SMS one-time passcode. Identity is verified using your Ghana Card, in line with regulatory requirements for financial services in Ghana.
4. Data sharing
Cashly shares necessary information with regulated financial partners to hold contributions in escrow and process mobile money transactions with MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, and AT Money.
5. Data security
We apply industry-standard safeguards to protect your personal and financial information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to our obligations under Ghanaian law.
7. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
